Basics of a Good Topic

  • Does your topic meets the assignment requirements? Check with your teacher

  • Is the topic interesting to you? The research process will be MUCH less painful and you might even enjoy it!

  • Is your topic "just right?  Topics that are too broad will overwhelm you with information to sort through; Topics that are too narrow will make it difficult to find information at all.
